PSF's Annual Appeal has begun!

Make a donation here to keep PSF strong.

It's been an exciting year at the Presentation School Foundation Community Center: We completed the renovations of the New Balance Community Room, which includes a kitchen; we hosted a range of free events including nutrition programs, cooking demonstrations, a community potluck, and a gardening program, and movie nights.

We also welcomed our new executive director, Bernadette Reid, who is building on PSF's first decade and working with our partners in the building and in the neighborhood to continue our mission to serve families and individuals of all ages in Allston-Brighton, whether it's affordable daycare, educational programs for children and adults, or providing free meeting spaces for local groups. (Read more here)

All of this happens because of your support! We need your assistance to continue these programs and to expand the services we provide. Please help by mailing your tax-deductible donation to: Presentation School Foundation, Inc., 640 Washington Street, Brighton, MA 02135. Or you can donate online right now by clicking here.

Thank you Mayor Menino

On behalf of the Presentation School Foundation, we would like to take this time to send our deepest sympathies to the Menino Family.

Mayor Thomas M. Menino was with the Presentation School Foundationís movement from the beginning, and continued to be one of the most outspoken advocates and supporters for its vision to become a community center that would provide resources and services to the residents of the Allston/Brighton Community.

No words could express our gratitude for Mayor Meninoís commitment to ensuring the people of this community would continue to thrive despite the significant changes that have taken place in our neighborhood and in our city.

Mayor Menino was more than just our mayor; he was a friend and a believer in the resiliency and enduring strength of a people and their community. We are eternally grateful to him for his friendship, leadership, and the care he showed for the people of Boston.

At left, scenes from just a few of the many times Mayor Menino showed his support for the Presentation School Foundation Community Center.
