The Presentation School Foundation’s mission is to provide educational, health and community services that strengthen Boston’s diverse Allston-Brighton neighborhood. Following a sustained grassroots campaign that the Boston Globe described as “an exceptional effort to buttress an urban community,” PSF purchased the former Presentation School building in 2007.
We are raising the funding needed to transform the building into a multi-tenant community center, with the following services:
- An affordable pre-school (in partnership with WGBH, Little Sprouts pre-school, and Wheelock College)
- Community health programs for children and families (in partnership with St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center)
- Adult education programs (in partnership with Creative Workplace Learning)
The renovation will produce a green building (we’re hoping for LEED “Gold”) that will once again serve the Allston-Brighton community. Thank you for your support of our effort to regain and renew this community anchor.
