
Department of Conservation and Recreation Commissioner Edward M. Lambert Jr., State Representative Kevin Honan, Boston Mayor Thomas Menino, Boston City Councilor Mark Ciommo, and two young helpers kick off a citywide tree-planting effort in November at the Presentation School Foundation Community Center.

Oak Square poised to celebrate revival of Presentation School as community center
The PSF Community Center will provide the following services for individuals, families and children:
- An affordable daycare and preschool (in partnership with Little Sprouts, WGBH and Wheelock College). The daycare and preschool is now open.
- Community health services, including the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program (in partnership with St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center). Scheduled to open in late January 2012.
- The New Balance Community Room will be open for any group needing space from the Girl Scouts to the Garden Club.
